You just hit the lottery and decided to buy unsettled land and create your own
country.

Drawing on what we learned about the themes location and place, come up

with a design plan for your country!

Your plan should include a name, location, 3

natural features, 3 man-made features (think: highways, cities, etc.), 2 landmarks,

climate, 2 natural resources/exports, and 2 kinds of tourist attractions you want to
be built. Draw a sketch of what a map of the country would look like, highlighting
your natural and man-made features.

Make sure your map includes a key!

When you are done finishing your graphic organizer and map, write a reflection about
why you decided to include the things you did.
