Next, format your resume correctly by following steps one through five "Note that the order in which you choose to present your education and experience will depend upon which one you want fo highlight, put the one you want the potential employer to notice first, first. Finally, ‘compare your resume to the critena at the end of this assignment, which are the same as the ones that your teacher will use to assess your resume. + What classes have you taken that should be listed on your resume? ‘+ What project work have you completed that should be listed? + What skills have you acquired, such as wnting, typing, speaking, presenting, etc, that should be included? + What jobs, internships, or extracurricular activities can you include? + What volunteer positions, clubs, hobbies, or sports can you include? + Do you speak another language? If so, include that. Step 1: Organization + Your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number should be listed at the top of the page + Use an appropriate email address—something businesslike and easy to understand, not “hotmama08@yahoo.com + Start your resume with an objective, which should include your intended major or minor, your career interests, or skills you wish to develop. + Next list your work experience in chronological order, from most recent to least recent. + Then lst your education, specifically highlighting good grades and any courses that match up with your future goals + Then list any honors or awards you have received, followed by any relevant community service activities and extracurricular activities. Think about whether the activities say something relevant ‘about you.
