TEACHING FOCUS:
Different types of jobs
Vocabulary
Sentences with SHE IS and HE IS

GOALS:
To identify different jobs.
To make sentences with SHE and HE.
To know appropriate vocabulary.

ACTIVITIES:
Presentation of jobs. Inquire about previous knowledge. The student teacher
asks some questions about the topic to the students.
Student Teachers (Juan Jose and Jorge) show some flashcards with different
jobs and the students will try to guess what job is.

After presentation the student teacher (Jorge) goes to the student book and
put the first listening of the unit and do the task 1 and 2.
(Exercise 1 and 2 page 28 unit 4).

Student teacher (Juan Jos) introduce the structure HE IS (El es) and
SHE IS (Ella es) on the blackboard to make sentences with the vocabulary
given.
E.g. She is a teacher // Ella es una profesora
He is a fireman // El es bombero

VOCABULARY
TEACHER, HOUSEWIFE, PILOT, PUPIL, FIREMAN

Then the student teacher (Jorge) goes to the book again a do the exercise
number 3 on page 29.

ASSESSMENT/ EVALUATION:
After that the student teacher gives an exercise sheet to student that must be
done in classroom. Activity: Look at the picture and match. Then write

EXTRA ACTIVITIES:

In case there is extra time, the student teacher (Juan Jos) repeats the
vocabulary of the unit.
The student teachers (Juan Jos and Jorge) makes a game to guess what job
is with the flashcards.
