1970s
He proposed the presence of singularity in space.
Later it was proved by the research of both hawking and penrose.
It later ended in the theory of BIG BANG.

1980s
He then postulated four laws on black hole dynamics
Properties of mass, electrical charge and rotation

Wave Function of the universe

Hawking spent most of his time trying to develop a
quantum theory of gravity
IN 1983 teaming up Jim hartel proposed Wave Function
He was the first to show quantum fluctuations during
inflation which may result in the arise of galaxies

REACHING STARS
The program resulted in the findings of
habitable planets in space with the help of
a space telescope HUBBLE
As a result of the programme ,upto 2013 ,
40 billion earth sized planets have been
found and 11 billion orbiting like sun-like
stars.

He wrote a book A BRIEF HISTORY OF
TIME
10 million copies in 20 years
He stated time may differ in space and
explained about wormholes and blackholes

DISABILITY
He suffered from
ALS(amyotrophic lateral
sclerosis)
It paralyzed him before
completing his higher
education
The doctors gave him a life
expectancy of 2 years at the
age of 21
But he survived and his speech
is only understood by his close
friends and family
