Installation of Omni Vista 4760 Application

Install ServerSetup

OK

Server Name & DNS


Suffix is base on
your computer names
and DNS
NOTE: NOT EDITED

Default

Password & Confirm Password: AdminNmc

Password & Confirm Password: NetworkExpert

Note: Restart your PC after the installation

Patching of Omni Vista 4760


Step 1

Type services.msc

Right click Service


Manager & NMC50
Database to stop
services

Step 2
Open Control Panel
-under control panel open Java Icon

Un check the Automatically


Updates then Apply OK

Step 3
Open the Installer of OmniVista 4760
-under PATCHES Folder
-Mandatory Folder
-copy all files inside Mandatory folder
Then paste to C:\4760\install\patches
Step 4

Right click Service


Manager & NMC50
Database to start
services
Make Sure that 16
NMC Started before
open Omni Vista
Application

Set-up Omni Vista 4760


Step 1
Opening of Omni Vista 4760
*Start/ProgramFiles/Omnivista 4760/OmniVista 4760 Client

Password: AdminNmc

Step 2
Creating of Network Inside Directory
*Under OmniVista Application Open Directory tab located
on the left side then System tab
*Right click nmc below System tab then create Network

Name: Network
Network Number: 0
Then Save

Save

Step 3
Creating of Subnetwork inside Network
*Right click Network then create Subnetwork

Name: Subnetwork
Subnetwork Number: 0
Then Save

Save

Step 4
Creating of OmniPCX 4400/Enterprise inside Subnetwork
*Right click Subnetwork then create OmniPCX
4400/Enterprise
Under PCX tab

Name: OmniPCX_400
Subnetwork-Node Number: 1
Subnetwork: Subnetwork
IP Address: 192.168.100.19
FTP Username: adfexc
FTP Password: adfexc || adfexc
Process Configuration: check
Alarm reception mode: Permanent IP connectivity
Accounting Process: Detailed accounting
Declaration node (License Control): check

Under Data Collection Tab

Step 5
Connecting of Omni Vista 4760 to PABX
*Under OmniVista Application Open Directory tab
located on the left side then System tab
-Double click nmc tab
-Double click Network
- right click Subnetwork
-Synchronization then Complete

Click OK
Click OK

Step 6
Viewing the Scheduler Data of Synchronization Job
*Under OmniVista Application Open Scheduler tab
located on the left side
1 Open Scheduler (double click)
2 Open Complete LDAP /PCX Synchronization
Wait until Finish the synch.
