THE FUNGI KINGDOM

Biblical principle
Colossians 1:16New International Version (NIV)
16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;
all things have been created through him and for him.
This verse is going to be very useful to introduce the general topic
kingdoms.
With the help of the verse, I will ask the students to name things in
heaven and on earth, and visible and invisible things. They will be asked
about the Creator of all these things.

OBJECTIVE
Identify all the living things
kingdoms to categorize them
according to their functions
and kinds of adaptation.

The Fungi
Kingdom
fungi - singular
fungus - plural
1)They absorb nutrients from living things and
from the remains of living things. They break
down parts of these materials.
2)they depend on other organisms for food.
3) they are multicellular.
4) they cannot move on their own.

The Fungi

Fungi lack chlorophyll.

Fungi are not photosynthetic.
