THE YEAR OF WORSHIP

John 4:23-24
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship
the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers God seeks.
God is spirit and his worshippers must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Principle of the month

Exclusiveness
Based on Exodus 20:3
You shall have no other gods before me.
Objective: Identify each one of the living things kingdoms in order to
categorize them according to their functions and sort of adaptations.
Learning objectives: describe all the characteristics of one-celled, bacteria and
Protist.

How are living things

classified?
Vocabulary
Organism: A living thing.
Microscopic: Too small to be seen with the eyes alone.
Bacteria: The kingdom of one-celled living things that
lack nuclei
Protist: One of the kingdoms of living things that can be
one-celled.

Protist
The Protista Kingdom consists of unicellular
lifeforms (lifeforms with only one cell) who have a
nucleus. The primary difference between protists
and monera is that protists are more complex,
having a nucleus.

Monera
The Monera Kingdom consists of unicellular lifeforms.
Unicellular means that they only have one cell. Moneran
cells are far simpler and more basic than the cells of other
lifeforms. These cells have no nucleus, and are also
missing many of the organelles, or parts, commonly found
in other cells. For this reason, monerans are thought to be
very distantly related to other lifeforms.

Bacteria: are commonly grouped by their shape. Some are

rod shape, some are like a ball, other are spiral shaped,
and some lives as individuals and other as cluster
together in pairs or chains.
Example: Lyamo bacteria live in water and make their
own food. They grow in ponds in colonies that are easy to
see.
Protist like algae: are found in fresh and salt water
everywhere in the world. Most algae make food and put
oxygen into the air.
