APPROPRIATE OFFICE ATTIRE

On those days when there is no prescribed office uniform for the day, that is Friday,
employees shall be dressed in appropriate Business Attire. The wearing of
maong pants, although generally prohibited, may be considered appropriate attire
when paired with a collared polo/shirt (for male employees); or any appropriate
blouse or collared shirt (for female employees).

PROHIBITED ATTIRE
The following attire shall be prohibited for all employees when performing official
functions inside the workplace/office:

Gauzy, transparent or netlike shirt or blouse;


Sando, strapless or spaghetti-strap blouse (unless worn as undershirt),
tank tops, blouses with over-plunging necklines;
Micro-mini skirt, walking shorts, cycling shorts, leggings, tights, jogging
pants;
Open toed footwear, rubber sandals and shoes,
bakya,rubber slippers, flat mules;
Round Neck T-shirts whether Official PGLU wear or not are
prohibited

EXEMPTIONS
If the employee is on field assignment or official business;
When the nature of the work of the official or employee demands that
he/she wears clothing other than those prescribed in the
aforementioned;
When religious affiliation or creed or any legitimate practice by an
employee in relation thereto, require him/her to wear a particular
clothing;
Physical disabilities, and other legitimate health reasons;
Pregnant female employees are allowed to wear maternity dresses
during the period of pregnancy;
Employees who have lost loved ones can wear mourning clothes during
the period of mourning; and
Other circumstances analogous to the foregoing. (CSC MC. 19, S. 2000)
