Dress Code Policy

Objective
Imaginarium Nigeria Ltd strives to maintain a workplace environment that is well functioning and free
from unnecessary distractions and annoyances. As part of that effort, the company requires employees
to maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriate for the workplace setting.
Procedures
All Imaginarium Ltd staff members are expected to present a professional image to clients, visitors,
customers, suppliers, contractors, and the public. The acceptable dress code is Smart-Casual. The Smart
casual dress code is a step up from "business casual" but not as formal as "boardroom attire." It's neat
and professional - but still informal.

Specific Requirements
Employees are advised NOT to go against the guidelines provided herein. While jeans are permitted to
be worn on any day of the week, they must be worn in a corporate manner e.g. with long-sleeved
shirts/Oxford shirts, except on Fridays.
Fridays are dress down days; anything goes even traditional attires are permitted on Fridays, with some
exceptions listed in the table below.
Violations of the policy can range from inappropriate clothing items to offensive perfumes and body
odor. If a staff member comes to work in inappropriate dress, the staff member will be required to pay a
fine of NGN 3,000.00. This fine should be dropped in cash form into the Longthroat Jar. Failure to do so
will result in a deduction of the stated amount from the salary of the offender.
Reasonable Accommodation of Religious Beliefs
Imaginarium Ltd. recognizes the importance of individually held religious beliefs to persons within its
workforce. The company will reasonably accommodate a staff member’s religious beliefs in terms of
workplace attire unless the accommodation creates an undue hardship.
