(June), Prague (July), Belgrade (August), Split (September), Kuala Lumpur (October), Koh Phangan
(November), Phnom Penh (December), Ho Chi Minh City (January).
Remote Year brings together a community of 75 professionals from across the globe to spend a
year, working, travelling, and exploring 12 cities around the world. Spending one month in each
city, the community will connect with local cultures and business ecosystems, forming lifelong,
borderless personal and professional relationships along the way.
SUMMARY
-Experienced Australian Business professional with an interest in working online/remotely.
-Selected from a pool of over 25,000 applicants to be a participant in the second Remote Year
program.
-Most recent experience in the insurance broking industry where I was tasked with handling
national insurance schemes when I was only an Account Broker after the Account Manager in our
team quit suddenly. Achieved a 90% retention rate while still negotiating a decrease in rates for
clients and winning new business in other areas to achieve sales targets.
-Awarded for the highest level of customer service and sales when I was working for Australias
largest telecommunications company, Telstra, while studying at university.
