activities you would do to use this lesson in your classroom:
Showing a presentation about the use of
Cont in art and around what time it became popular
What is the relative advantage of
using the technology in this lesson? I can show a power point with text and images for my students to see
Do you have resources and skills
you need to carry it out? yes
I would give each of my students a piece
of black Cont and grey paper to draw a b.)Describe the Phase 2- Implementation small still life. activities you would do to use this lesson in yourWhat are the objectives of the classroom: lesson plan? To become familiar with Cont and how to use it for shading and lighting purposes.
How will you assess your
students accomplishments of the objective? By how well they were able to draw the still life using shading and lighting with their Cont.
What integration strategies are
used in this lesson plan? The lesson is of shading and lighting, learning what value is, learning how to use and hold Cont.
How would you prepare the
learning environment? Setting up a simple still life on a table with a lamp to provide shading on the objects, they will be asked to draw what is on the table and using their Cont they will draw and shade the objects how they see them.
c.)Describe the Phase 3- evaluation/
revision activities you would do to use this lesson in your classroom: what strategies and or/instruments would you use to evaluate the success of this lesson in your classroom, in order to determine revision needs?
I would evaluate the students ability
and understanding of how shading and lighting works and if the understand It better by using the Cont. I would base my revision needs off of whether or not the students correctly executed the drawing and completed shading and lighting as I have instructed.
d.)Add lesson descriptors- create descriptors
for your new lesson (e.g., grade level, content, and topic areas, technologies used, ISTE standards, 21st century learning standards)
Grade level: high school
Topic: art Technologies: Power point presentation Standards: standard 1- creativity and innovation Learning standards: students draw conclusions, make informed decisions, apply knowledge to new situations, and create new knowledge.
