Hawaiian Way Fund Approved for 2010 CFC

HONOLULU, HI – The Hawaiian Way Fund (HWF), the donor program of the Council for Native Hawaiian
Advancement (CNHA) has been approved for participation in the 2010 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The
Hawaiian Way Fund will be included in the 2010 CFC charity list with a CFC code number, enabling federal
employees to designate contributions specifically for the HWF by using the code.

If the HWF receives designations, the organization will also receive a proportional percentage of the undesignated
contributions. Notification of the 2010 campaign results will be released in March of 2011.

“Designated giving from the Combined Federal Campaign is a critical component in support of our mission,” said
Robin Puanani Danner, President and CEO of the CNHA. “Mahalo to the CFC for allowing our continued
participation in this vital program. We urge all federal employees to support the CNHA’s Hawaiian Way Fund by
looking for us on the 2010 CFC form and designating your contributions for the betterment of Native Hawaiians.”

Melani Kaaihue of the Aloha United Way, coordinating agency for the CFC, offered her congratulations, saying,
“We look forward to working with you on another successful campaign!”
