•Gathering Rubric
•Shona is getting books from the National Library, and the bibliography work she
did last term fits in with this unit.
•Robyn has organised for us to borrow 3 topic DVD’s & videos – Shona will hold
on to these and they will be available from her, over the 3 weeks we have them.
•The world vision unit available of disc– it contains heaps of information and
activities.
ICT

This terms focus for increasing our own teacher


competency is PowerPoint
-see details in Social Studies unit plan.
You may use power point in anyway you like to
support student learning, support will be provided for
us all to be successful with this tool.
Science

Science is optional this term – but this is a good chance to try


one off, hands on science experiments. Avon has written some
water based experiments that she will put in the shared drive.
This would also prepare the students for Science Fair in term 3
