Coors Brewing Company – Golden, CO & Shenandoah, VA 1999 –


2007 Director of Organizational Development - Instrumental in transitioning this organization from
entitlement to results based focus.
 Created and implemented an organizational roadmap for high performance – world-class work systems at
the Coors Brewing Company.
 Facilitated Senior Leadership at the Golden and Shenandoah Breweries in developing strategies and
implementation plans for the work systems organizational roadmap.
 Created and deployed a curriculum for building internal capability for Teams Development within both
Coors breweries. This involved the design, and delivery, of both leadership and workforce interventions.
 Managed a Learning and Systems Development department that was responsible for developing and
delivering effective learning and systems processes to both brewery locations at Coors.
 Designed and implemented a Behavioral Assessment Process that was part of the Coors workforce hiring
process. Developed and delivered the annual Behavioral Assessor Training for those participating as
Assessors in the Behavioral Assessment.
 Successfully field-tested the high performance organizational roadmap by being placed in two leadership
positions in manufacturing. Was placed in charge of the Can Packaging operation in the Golden Brewery
that had twenty teams and 250 salaried and hourly personnel. Was also placed in charge of the Returnable
Bottle operation at the Shenandoah Brewery. The processes implemented, with both leadership and
workforce, proved successful in increasing productivity and reducing operational costs.

Miller Brewing Company (SAB Miller) – Trenton, OH 1991 - 1995

Organizational Development Manager – Instrumental in developing and implementing a


transformational work system design that led to this plant becoming the lowest cost producer in the
U.S. Beer Industry.
 Provided guidance to the Plant Manager and his Staff on organizational design, management, team
roles, and personnel development issues.
 Facilitated critical plant issues such as the development of the pay for skills system and
organizational effectiveness processes, as well as team and interpersonal conflict situations.
