This video is applicable in math, language arts, and music class. It could be used for a
math lesson teaching percent, improper fractions and mixed numbers. It could also be
used as an example of creating a rap to teach and remember new information. Students
could watch the video and create their own rap in any subject area. In language arts or
music class it could be used to talk about rhyme, meter and verse.

This video would be appropriate for upper elementary and middle school students in the
general education or special education setting. Students in the resource room may also
enjoy this video as a supplement to instruction.

working toward converting fractions to percents and decimals
