CINNAMON ROLLS

Ingredients

For the dough:


 300g flour
 3 tablespoons sugar
 3 teaspoons baking powder
 ½ teaspoon salt
 120g butter
 150ml milk
 1 egg

For the filling:


 110g butter (soft)
 3 teaspoons cinnamon
 220g brown sugar

Method

1. Sieve the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
2. Rub in the butter.
3. Beat the egg and milk together and then add to the bowl.
4. Mix into a dough.
5. Add more flour if it is too wet.
6. Make the filling by mixing the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon
together.
7. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface into a large square.
8. Spread on the filling.
9. Roll up the dough like a swiss roll.
10.Cut into slices about an inch thick.
11.Put the slices on a well greased baking tray
12. Bake in the oven at 200˚C for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
