Cinnamon Pinwheel

Equipment
Bowl
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Lined tray
Knife to mix.
Ramekin
Rolling pin
Ingredients
1 C flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
25 grams butter
1 tablespoon sugar
½ cup milk (just under)
Filling- melted butter, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 Tbsp brown sugar
Method
1. Turn oven to 200C fan bake
2. Mix flour baking powder and salt into a large bowl
3. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine
breadcrumbs.
4. Make a well in the centre.
5. Pour in the milk and mix quickly until a soft dough
forms. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead
lightly.
6. Roll out dough into rectangle shape
7. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in small ramekin
8. Generously brush butter over dough
9. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture over dough
10. Roll up tightly and cut into same sized pieces
11. Place on lined baking tray
12. Brush with milk to glaze.
13. Bake at 200C for 10 minutes until cooked.
14. Transfer to cooling rack.
