Apple Turnovers

Equipment
Small saucepan
Knife and chopping board
Peeler
Wooden spoon
Measuring spoons
Tray and baking paper
Spoon
fork

Ingredients
1 apple
1 tsp cinnamon
4 tsp brown sugar
15g butter
½ tsp cornflour
2 tsp cold water

Method
1. Turn oven to 200C fan bake.
2. Peel and chop apples and place into a pot.
3. Add butter, cinnamon and brown sugar. Heat until butter has
melted and begins to bubble. Careful not to burn.
4. Add cornflour and water and stir for 5 seconds until thick.
Remove from heat.
5. Cut pastry sheet into 4 squares.
6. Fill the corner of a 4 squares with even amount of apple
mixture. Fold pastry over to make a triangle. Use a fork to seal
the edges.
7. Place turnovers on a lined tray
8. Cover the pastry with egg/milk wash and bake for 15 mins
until golden brown.
