“What Merdeka means to me”

Merdeka is a day Malaysians celebrate their freedoms from being control from other
country and their independence for being a country. Also a day where we remember about our
history and be proud of our country.

To me Merdeka is a day where flags are put up, a day celebration and it also when
contest are held. To me it means to look at the past and see the future. It’s a day where we put
our difference a side and celebrate as one country.

To me it’s a historical day when we were give back our freedoms, a day to be proud of
and a day we will remember the ones that given us our freedoms back. Lastly a day where we
remember our country and that work hard to archived our freedoms.
