alve connector. Change the connector if necessary. With the ignition on, check f
or the presence of12 volts on the petrol pressure regulation valve. Repair the c
onnection line to the actuator relays if necessary. Check theresistance of the p
etrol pressure regulation valve. Replace the valve if necessary. Connect the bor
nier in place of the computer and checkthe insulation, continuity and absence of
interference resistanceon the line: Injectioncomputer 6 Petrol pressure regulat
ion valve Repair if necessary. AFTER REPAIR Clear the fault memory.
Follow the instructions to confirm repair.
Deal with any other possible faults.

ctor if necessary. Connect the bornier in place of the computer and checkthe ins
ulation, continuity and absence of interference resistanceon the line: Injection

ult finding procedure in this Technical Note, because this may be causing your f
ault to appear. If DF004 Coolant temperature sensor circuit is present or stored
, treat it as a priority because it may be causing your fault to appear. Conditi
ons for applying the fault finding procedure to the fault stored. The fault is d
eclared present after the engine has been
running at idle speed for 2 minutes.
OR
The fault is declared present after the engine has been
running at varying speeds for 2 minutes.
ForSAFETYandCLEANLINESS reasons, it isVITAL TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED
IN THE METHOD SECTIONfor this vehicle. Visuallycheck forleaks in the petrol circ
uit. Repair if necessary. Checkthe condition of the petrol filter. If it has any
impurities, change the filter and check the cleanliness of the tank. Check for
the presence of12 volts on track 66 of the injection computer.
Repair the connection between track 66 on the injection computer and the actuato
r
relays if necessary.
Check themanual operation of the petrol pump (measure flow and pressure). Change
the petrol pump if necessary. Check that the petrol pressure sensor is in good
working condition:See the vehicle conformity check to obtain the value of the pe
trol pressure with the ignition on (PR074). Replace the sensor if necessary. Wit
h the engine running at idle speed, checkthe petrol pressure value (see vehicle
conformity check). minimum < PR074= maximum or PR074 > maximum The high pressure
regulator is defective. Change the pressure regulator. PR074 <minimum Activate
the regulator control to check that the regulator is
not seized.
Change the pressure regulator.
The high pressure pump is faulty. AFTER REPAIR Clear the fault memory.
Follow the instructions to confirm repair.
