External urethral orifice  outlet for urine and semen excretion
Prepuce  protective, retractable skin covering the penis
Glans penis  presenting and penetrating part of the penis
Corpus spongiosum  erectile tissues of the penis
Corpus cavernosum  contain blood network of blood vessels which are
distended with blood during penile erection
Urethra  common passageway for urine and semen
Ampulla  dilation on which some part of semen are poised prior to
ejaculation
Seminal Vesicle  produce fluid added to the secretion of testes forming the
semen
Scrotum  skin pouch for containing the testes and surrounding parts
Testes  Spermatogenesis- production of sperm
 Hormone secretion- e.g. testosterone
Epididymis  carry sperm from the testes to the vas deferens
Ductus deferens (Vas deferens  muscular tube for the passage of semen from testes to
ejaculatory duct
Cowper’s gland (Bulbourethral gland)  produce fluid for lubrication of the penis before
intercourse
Prostate gland  produce fluid which form a part of semen
Ejaculatory duct  passage through which semen enters the urethra
Rectum  passageway for stool
Urinary Bladder  stores urine for discharge
Symphysis Pubis  cartilaginous join
