RE: Project Reflection Memo

When writing my Project, I had to use my time wisely from day one when the project was
discussed and handed out. This ranged from setting up interviews to collecting the information for the
project. After handing in the project and reflecting my strengths and weakness I have found that my
time management was above average. The reason that my time management was above average was
that I had my project done on time. I wasn’t cramming my project. The largest benefit that I had got
from good time management is that I was able to receive peer review. This helped me out to show me
what was important on the final product and how I should present it. I was able to critique it for a
couple of days. Hopefully I was able to decrease the spelling and grammar mistakes that may have
occurred.

During the project in terms of weaknesses that I have incurred during the project were very
minimal. There were a few obstacles of the project that may have taken some time. This would include
setting up the interviews, properly laying out the format of the brochure. These were the only negatives
in terms of weaknesses of project management. I couldn’t decide with which brochure to use to get my
information across easily. Another weakness was setting up the interviews. I had to go home for the
interviews. During this time it was hard to set up, due to the fact that the schedules of my interviewees
were full. But I was finally able to get the interviews I needed for the project.

Some of the ways I can exploit my weaknesses and strengths would be to address them up front
at the beginning of the project. From this I’m able to react to the different circumstances that I may face
in the future. For my strengths I’m able to realize how important it was to get the project finished early
for good review of the entire project. For my weaknesses, I would say that trying to set up interviews
more than a week advance would help out my cause. Just the fact that one of the interviewees was out
of town that weekend I was home. Overall, I enjoyed the project I was able to have good time
management. In return, this should have brought the best in my research writing.
