Bahan-Bahan | Ingredients

150-200 gm beras Basmati


1 liter susu tanpa lemak
Safron
5 ulas cempedak
1 suduk kecil serbuk buah pala hijau
Gula
Hirisan badam panggang

150-200 gms of long grain rice (Basmati)


1l of skim milk
Few strands of saffron
5 numbers of cempedak
1 tsp green cardomom powder
Sugar
Toasted almond flakes

Cara Cara | Method


In Malay

Letakkan susu dan beras di dalam periuk dan biarkan sehingga ia mendidih. Sebaik
sahaja ia mendidih, tambahkan pula saffron dan biarkan selama 8 hingga 10 minit.
Apabila beras dan susu menjadi pekat, campurkan pula gula mengikut rasa serta
serbuk buah pala hijau.
Masukkan pula cempedak dan biarkan ia sejuk. Hiaskan dengan hirisan badam
panggang. Hidangkannya sejuk.

Place milk and rice in a pot and bring to boil. Once it boils, add in saffron and
simmer for 8-10 minutes.
When the rice is cooked and the milk is thick and starchy, stir in sugar to your
palate liking and cardomom powder.
Add in chempedak and chilled. Garnish with almond flakes.
Serve ice cold.
