    Use the past for:
    Finished actions

    Examples:
    I ate pizza yesterday
    You didn´t go to the party last year

    Future (will)
    Use Future (will) for
    predictions and long time
    period plans, instant
    desicions offers and
    promises.

    Examples:
    He will be late for dinner
