PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 Orascom EPTSC (Egyptian Pakistani Telecom services company) (July 2010 to Date)
Working as a BSS Engineer for Operation & Maintenance of Mobilink (PMCL) project
 Liaising with FLM Engineers on site to carry out 24/7 network Operation & Maintenance
[O & M] activities on the Network Elements to ensure that the radio network faults and
performance degradations are corrected as per costumer requirements.
 Escalating Network faults to First Line Maintenance [FLM] Engineers.
 Using Motorola OMCR GUI for Alarms Handling, Event Monitoring, Performance Monitoring
(KPI’s) and Corrective Maintenance related activities.
 Operation and trouble shooting of Microwave ( NEC, Ericsson and Alcatel)
 Commissioning of Motorola BTS HMAC and Alcatel Evolium BTS.
 Resolve and follow up BSS/TXN related issues for Wimax network.
 Health Checking and on field troubleshooting of Motorola and Alcatel BTS.
 Development and implementation of Operations & Maintenance processes.
 Preventive Maintenance of Network entities like Genset, Aircons, Rectifiers etc.
 Involving in site handover and site audit activities with PMCL Engineers.

 Nokia Siemens Networks – Telenor Project (Jan 2009 to Jun 2010)

Worked as a BSS Engineer and PM Coordinator for the operation and maintenance of Network in
South region of Pakistan.

 Perform daily activities to resolve Quality and Hardware alarms in my region.

 Resolve Degraded TRXs and worst cells on daily basis.
 Coordination with RF teams to solve different RF issues.
 Execution of BSS activities such as cell expansion (Soft 900/1800, Complex 900/1800) and
rollout sites implementation as per customer plan.
  Sweep (VSWR) test of feeder cable by Anritsu Site Master.
 Sound Knowledge of RF Optimization and TEMS.
 Installed and commissioned Siemens BTS 240 XL and micro BTS 82 Xl
 Alarm Monitoring of PDH transmission.
 Operation & troubleshooting of Rectifiers and Power equipment.
 Coordinating with PM teams and Customer (Telenor Pakistan) for PM issues.
 Educate the PM teams according to the customer requirements.
 Conduct Preventive/Corrective Audits and highlight area for improvement.
 Environmental Alarm testing and their rectification
 Compiling Alarm Rectification reports and reporting to customer.
