Q: Where did you get the idea of Ace Water Spa?

A: The owners of Ace are into the package industry they are Filipino-Chinese and
they saw this concept in Taiwan. It suits the need for health and leisure, all in one. It’s
not only for adults, everyone enjoy it, and it becomes a total family experience.

Q: What is the history of this place?

A: In 2004, they decided to build it here in Del Monte Ave., Quezon City. In March
2005, we opened our doors to the public. Only three countries have it, Japan, Korea
and Taiwan. Taiwanese engineers were brought here just to build it.

Q: Is this the only hydrotherapy water spa in the Philippines?

A: Yeah. So even in other countries they don’t have it, the hydros. It is something
unique, that even for your visitors and or your family and friends who are balikbayans
you can bring them here. For sure they’ll enjoy the place ‘cause they don’t have it
back home. It is something we can be proud of. We can say: wala kayo nito, bleeh.

Q: Who are the founders of Ace Water Spa?

A: It’s actually three families, which are related to each other, the Uy, Ang, and Sy.
They are good in the plastics industry. They want to invest in something unique. It’s
not also a cheap investment; it’s a huge investment. I could say that there are too
many zeros invested in this place. But they think naman they could get good returns.

Q: Where did you get the equipments used in the pool?

A: All of our equipments are imported from Taiwan. You see we are high tech. We
really thought of safety as the first priority. That’s why all the equipments, we have a
control panel that all the switches are of low voltage so there is zero chance of
electrocution. It’s not easy for them to copy because they might get electrocuted in the
process. Not a single Filipino contractor would know how to build Ace Water Spa.
