Service Opportunities...
Reading for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) records textbooks from Kindergarten through Post-Grad studies for vision-
impaired persons. It is a national organization with a studio right on Wisconsin Avenue. They are looking for readers to
dedicate 2 hours a week for a year. They are particularly searching for readers with backgrounds in Science, Math, and
Computer Science since diagrams must be described while reading also. An introduction session at the studio will be ar-
ranged for anyone who may be interested.
RFB&D is also preparing for their annual gala to be held Friday, May 13, 7-11 pm at the National Museum of Women in
the Arts. They are looking for volunteers to attend as hostesses to assist guests while in the museum.
If you are interested in either opportunity, please contact vpfoundation@wdcdeltagamma.org
