 Cut the service cable in a

fashion to expose the
armour of the cable as
shown in the figure.

 Pass the service cable

through double
compression gland & fix
the inner ring of the gland
on to the armour tightly.

 Tighten the outer ring of

the double compression
gland .

CONNECTION TO BUS BAR CHAMBER
Annexure A-2

 Crimp the lugs on the cable

ends through crimping tool.

 Insert the cable to the bus

bar chamber & tighten the
ring of double compression
gland from the inner side of
the bus bar chamber .

 Connect the cable to the bus

bars.
