NABEMONO
Nabemono is a very popular Japanese
country dish. Traditionally, farmers,
fishermen and mountain men gathered
what fresh ingredients were readily
available for the day and cooked them
together in a large pot for a convenient
meal hearty enough to feed an entire
family. These nabemono are served
as an individual portion based on this
same country tradition.

TERIYAKI
Most popular on the menu is Domo’s
Teriyaki chicken. Originally, in Japan,
meats and fish were marinated, seared
and slow cooked over a low open flame.
Domo’s chicken Teriyaki is cooked in
this traditional fashion. Fresh chicken
thigh meat is marinated, seared
and hung over the grill for at least
two hours before it is flash grilled.
Preparing the chicken in this manner
removes excess oils and makes for
a delicious teriyaki. Domo’s chicken
teriyaki is used in many of Domo’s
dishes throughout the menu.
