Questions:

1. Considering the development opportunities available to you this year, how have you
applied what you learned?
The ways that I have applied what I learned are that I’ve used the skills in projects from
other classes. I learned to use my skills with every class in a way that I could use all the
strategies in my work. I’ve used reading strategies in tests, Math in Science, and Ap
Human Geography in Model U.N.
2. What strengths do you possess that you can use at a higher level next year?
The strengths that I possess and can use next year are that now I know more about
countries, learned how to think solutions to problems really quick. From algebra I
learned how algebra is used every day by everyone even I they don’t know it. Now I
know that there are new ways to make art not just by paint and pencils.
3. What obstacles must you work through so you can meet all your goals for this year?
The obstacles that I worked through this year to meet my goals are that some classes
were for me such as Chinese and ap human geo. My grades were really down on those
classes so to fix my problems I had to start staying after school until I got the lesson.
Another step that I had to do was that I had to do work that I failed or had a 70. I also
asked for extra credit work.
4. Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving
further academic and work related goals?
The things that I have learned during class and I know that they will assist me in the
future are that I learned note taking skills, now I take notes during classes that are hard
for me. I’ve also learned how to use facts about other countries in my other classes such
as if I know something about Spain I could do a project about it in art, or I could use it in
a math problem, or as a story in English.
5. If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be and why? Any
regrets?
The assignment that I would redo this year is the science fair project. I would choose
that assignment because I did that project at the last moment and I think I didn’t try my
best in it. The regrets that I have for that project is the topic that I picked because since I
did it two days before the due date and I still didn’t have my project chosen until the
day before
6. What are 3 words you would use to describe this class?
The 3 words that I would describe this is are “Technology is gangster”
7. How did your computer skills grow or improve over the course of the year?
My skills improved over the year by being able to use the new computer skills in other
classes. I also improved in high school due to technology class because during my
freshmen year we usually focused on research and projects and those computer skills
that I learned helped me improve my projects.
8. What were your greatest challenges or lessons learned?
My greatest challenge in technology were that sometimes I would get off tasks and not
finish my work on time and I knew that if I focused on the topic or project I would finish
even on that day.
