The College of Nursing is one of the older colleges of nursing in Cebu. The College of Nursing enjoys the distinction of being the 1st College of Nursing in Cebu, 2nd in Region VII, to have earned level III status granted by the Philippine Accredited Association of Schools, Colleges and Universitites (PAASCU). Committed to the vision, mission and goals of the University, the College has regular activities geared toward the wholistic development of our students to become caring professional nurses, who are cognizant of thier accountabilities to God and the people they serve in pursuit of health. OBJECTIVES Its primary objective is to educate selected men and women for varied positions in nursing, who can: 1. Integrate concepts of the natural, social and behavioral sciences in meeting the needs of a growing person in the health-illness continuum through critical/analytical thinking, the nursing process and decision-making. 2. Work with clients and other professionals with a deep sense of responsibility and commitment in providing caring care in any setting utilizing the primary health care approach, effective communication and leadership skills. 3. Undertake research and continuing education programs for personal and professional growth.

REQUIREMENT FOR ADMISSION BSN-I 1. A student who wishes to enrol in BSN has to: 1.1 submit high school card and certificates of

1.2 good moral character 1.3 take the entrance exam 1.4 go through a personal interview 2. College students who wish to shift to the nursing course have to through the same process of selection (#1.2, 1.3) and submit: 2.1 certificate of good moral character from former Dean and Guidance Counselor 2.2 grades in college for evaluation
