Angle

Acute Angle
The acute angle is the small angle which is less than 90

Right Angle
An angle of 90, as in a corner of a square

Obtuse Angle
An angle between 90 and 180 degrees

Protractor
An instrument used in measuring or drawing angles

Intersection A single point where two lines meet or cross each other

Parallel Extending in the same direction, everywhere equidistant, and not meeting

A straight line at an angle of 90 to a given line, plane, or surface

the common endpoint of the two rays

Skew
An oblique angle; a slant

Segment Bisector

Pythagorean Theorem
The theorem that the sum of the squares of the lengths of the sides of a right triangle is equal to the square of the length of the hypotenuse

Collinear A set of points that lie in a straight line

Congruent
Two objects are congruent if they have the same dimensions and shape

Non-Collinear
Points that are not all on the same line

Ray
a straight line extending from a point

Coplanar
In the same plane

Non-Coplanar
not on the same plane
