This document describes two methods for calculating the dot product of vectors. Method 1 uses the product of the magnitudes of the vectors and the cosine of the angle between them. Method 2 calculates the sum of the products of the x and y components of each vector. Both methods are demonstrated by calculating the dot products of three vectors AB, BC, and AC, where the length and angles between the vectors are given.
