    The 2-wattmeter method allows for the measurement of three-phase power using only two wattmeters. The line currents and voltages are measured and the wattmeters are connected such that one measures the sum of power in two phases while the other measures the power in the third phase. The difference between the two wattmeter readings gives the total three-phase power consumed.
