Clarification of Calculation of Weight of Metalic Insert.

As per drawing :NINL/CO-2006-M-19-09-02 the weight calculation of plate is as follows 1) Plate 1: 4X550X1950 (all in mm)=24kg 2) Plate 2:10X290X290 (all in mm)= 5.1 kg Plate) 3) Plate 3: 4X134X134 (all in mm)=0.6 kg The basis of calculation was Weight= Volume X Density. (Density of SS-310 =8000 Kg/m3 and Density of MS plate=7850 kg/m3) Calculation: Plate 1: 1.95 mtr X 0.550 mtr X 0.004 mtr X 8000 kg/mtr3 =34.32 kg Plate2: {(0.290X0.290) mtr2 (0.138X0.138)mtr2} X0.10 mtr X 7850 kg/mtr3=5.1 kg Plate 3: 0.134 mtr X 0.134 mtr X 0.004 mtr X 8000 kg/mtr3= 0.574 kg (Excluding 138X138 cutout, MS

From calculation it is clear that the weight of the insert plate 1 is 34 kg. However it is mentioned In drawing as 24 kg . Which is a typing error.

***Above insert plate will install inside the chamber for continuous operation at 1200 deg temp. So SS-310 material is only solution for the application.
