Sub: Consent to Operate issued without plant at the address

Sir,
I regret to in form you that officers of MPCB. are issuing consents without
verifying the facts One M/S Good Luck Trading Corporation of LBS Marg Kurla W,
Mumbai- Whose consent to operate is attached for your perusal and necessary
action.

As there isn’t any unit or plant at the address mentioned in concern to operate.
The mentioned firm has been awarded garbage contract at SEEPZ-SEZ Andheri (E),
Mumbai, in the said contract septic tank and gutter waste is also included which
contents hazardous chemicals, human excreta in the sludge.

As such SEEPZ SEZ is an industrial zone where units are carrying out job of
plating refining of precious metal using hazardous chemicals.

Septic tank and gutter waste generated in the zone is connected to common septic
tank behind gems jewellery complex SDF II & III.

The said sludge accumulated is being remove by the contractor who don’t have any
sort of license to handle or transport and recycle the same i.e. hazardous waste
which contents various metals as such zinc, copper, lead, etc. which falls under
the category of hazardous waste which requires the permission consent to operate
from M.P.C.B., C.P.C.B., as per the rules framed for handling, recycling and
transport.

Which is brought in notice of competent authorities of MIDC, SEEPZ, MPCB regional

office Mumbai, vide my letter dated 19/11/2008 as the officers are in connivance
and no one is taking serious note of the complaint and taking action in this
regards.

Hope you take necessary steps to stop the same and direct the concerned
authorities not to allow anyone without the requisites permission and get it
confirmed that the consent to operate is issued by appropriate authorities.
