Hello Unleashed entrant!
This year things have changed a little bit. Last year you may have seen some of your fellow students framing their work before sending it out, but this year we are asking for mounted work instead. Your work will be framed by us after submission.

A3 (400x500mm) - standard inside mount 290x390mm A2 (500x700mm) - standard inside mount 390x490mm
Each piece must be clearly marked and entrants should submit 6 pieces of artwork. One is for the exhibition and the remaining 5 limited edition prints are for any future sales that will be made during the exhibition. Its all in the detail

Experience tells us that original or unique works are highly sought after and this also applies to the quality of paper and the way in which each picture is mounted. These details can have a significant impact on both judging and the saleability of the piece when exhibited. As a guideline for your mounted pieces of work, the frame sizes are listed on the left. Please feel free to resize the inside mount area to best suit your work.

Background information

This year we are encouraging you to write a small piece of up to 50 words detailing the description/ story of what inspired you to produce the piece.

Competition and Judging

Competition entries will be judged by an independent panel of industry professionals who will decide upon a shortlist and then award Silvers and Gold.

The judges brief is to reward talent, technique and originality. Half an eye is reserved for commerciality: looking for work which will sell, because thats the only way to make a living. But if last years event proved anything it was that there are very broad tastes out there - amongst judges and collectors! Good Luck!
