What is an Obtuse Angle

What is an Obtuse Angle An angle is an most basic concept of geometrical mathematics, which is used for solving various geometrical problem that are related to the mathematics. In mathematics an angle can be defined as meet point of two rays on a particular point. By meeting the two rays it generate a new figure in geometry which is called as angle. In the concept of an angle, rays can be defined as a type of a line which has a finite length in a single direction. The ray of an angle is called as edges of the angle. The meet points where the edge of an angle meets are known as vertex point. The concept of angles is given by the great mathematician MR. Euclidean. Angles are usually considered in a Euclidean plane. The word angle comes from the Latin word angulus which means refers as a corner. If we follow the standard definition of an angle we can define the angle as a joint of two rays which shares a common end point. In geometry, rays are also known as half line. There are various kind of angle are defined in mathematics. Know More About R Scatter Plot Math.Tutorvista.com

When we study the various shapes of mathematics then we found that the concepts of an angle are used in the various geometrical figures like square, polygon, and quadrilateral, rectangle and so on. In geometric mathematical study we observe one thing that the concepts of angles are only works on those geometrical shapes that are formed with the help of straight lines. In below we show you some of the angles that are consider as a types of an angles. Right angle: in this type of an angle, an angle that has the measurement equals to the 90 degree. Acute angle: An acute angle is an angle that has the measure less than 90 degree. Obtuse angle: This is a type of an angle. In which the angle has the measure greater than 90 degree. Here we are going to discussing about the Obtuse angle. At the time of studying angles, a question arises in our mind that What is an Obtuse Angle. An obtuse angle is a special kind of a geometrical angle that has the measurement greater than 90 degree. To evaluate the various measurements of the geometrical figures and obtuse angle plays an important role. An obtuse angle contains the collection of all those angles that has the measurement of an angle greater than 90 degree. When we draw an obtuse angle as identical or in case of drawing geometrical shapes then we need to remember some of the points about the labeling of an angle. a) At the time of creating an acute angle then it is necessary to give a name of an angle in the alphabetic form like a, b, c up to z. b) In the case of three letters on the shape which defines an angle then middle letter shows the point where obtuse angle is formed. Suppose there is an angle XYZ, here angle is formed on the point Y and remaining point X and Z are the end points of the rays. Example: find the acute angle from the below given measurement of an angles? 105o, 85o, 90o, 57o, 145o, 78o and 23o Solution: in the above given question different measure of angles are given. As we all are very well aware that an obtuse angle has the measurement greater than 90 degree. Then: 105o 145o
