Class Involvement (10%) - will calculated based on Absence and Participation. 1. Absence Each week you need to sign on the list that have been provided by Teacher Assistant (TA). Dont forget to sign on the absence list otherwise your absence will not be counted. If you didnt come at that week because some problems, Send an email to the TA to notify your absent also mention it your reason for being absent. Sign the absence by yourself and Do not ask your friend to help you to sign in when you were absent. Violation on this point will cause you and your friends get stern warning. You are encouraged to come to class on time If you need to leave the class earlier because some problems, please notify TA in advance. 2. Participation Each week TA will count your participation based on your performance in the class. Each questions, answer to Professor question, or you deliver your idea will get one point in participation. You may come everytime to TA to check on your participation points.

Weekly Group Report (20%) will calculated based on your performance on blackboard discussion The purpose of the weekly group report is to create a forum where all members can deliver and exchange the idea. Through this forum students be expected to assess idea from various side. Rules of weekly group report : 1. Each week TA will create folder in Discussion section on blackboard where group can put their comment in it. Make sure group put it in the right folder. 2. Each individual need to give comment, opinion or suggestion on each week lecture for 1 or 2 sentences. You need to post your comment personally on the blackboard. In the end, group leader or group members who take turns will summarize all of the comment and make it as group comment. For examples : Group 1 has 8 members. Each members will comment on blackboard and group leader or group members who take turns will summarize all the comments and make it as group comment. So in Group 1 folder of comment it would have 9 posts of comments, consist of 8 posts of members comment, and 1 post of group comment. 3. Each individual is encouraged to challenge back group comments. Any of your post that comment back others group post will be highly appreciated and will be counted. 4. Each members who post weekly report first is responsible to create group folder. And the folder should be named GROUP group numbers. For example : GROUP 1 5. If you absent on that week, you still need to post your comment by review that week materials. 6. Each week weekly report deadline is on the next Thursday at 23.59 For example : Course on February 24th, deadline for the weekly report is on March 1st , at 23:59.
