What is Art Deco?

An art movement created in the 1920s purely as decorative art. It uses linear symmetry, modernity, and industrial design. It influenced architecture, interior design, industrial design, fashion and jewelry, as well as the visual arts such as painting, graphic arts and film. What influenced it?

What is Cubism?

An art movement based around the 20th Century and was used in painting and sculpture. The art is broken up and then reassembled in an abstracted form. Instead of viewing objects from one viewpoint, you see it in multiple views to enhance its content.
