My responsbilities include. TRAINER JOBS Training of employees and fire squad members on the use of following equipments. SCBAs ( Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, Fire extinguishers (all types ), kit for Chlorine Release Emergency Safety Orientation trining to new employees and to the contractors . Training for Operation of Breathing Air compressor for filling of BA Apparatus (Self Contained Breathing Appartus) and Breathing air cylinders to new employees of safety unit. Work Permit System training to employess. Provise of different safety related Trainings to employess. Conducting and Overeseeing the Safety Auditing of the Permit to work system as well as intensive involvement in work place safety ,health and environment auditing. Details jobs induded in my routine work are described below .

EMERGENCY HANDLING I am an active member of fire squad .Handling of different types of emergencies such as heavy Ammonia leakage , Chlorine leakage and rescue of affacted persons in confined spaces in case of incident is included in my jobs.

FIRE FIGHTING When there is a fire at plant site ,it is my responsibility to rush to the fire location along with fire squad and fire truck.

MAINTENANCE & REFILLING OF FIRE & SAFETY EQUIPMENTS I carry out refilling of DCP fire extinguishers at safety unit . DCP filling machine is used to fill requried quantity of DCP in the container and then it is assembled and pressurized with N2 from N2 cylinder through a pressure regulator.

Reffilling of SCBAs which are uesd during training or in an emerency .SCBA are refilled through breathing air compressor which is equipped with breathing air purification system that removes contaminations, oil and mositrue if present in the air. I can carry out rebinding of damaged or leaky fire hoses using house binding machine .If a fire leaks from any portion, its leaky portion is cut and the coupling is binded on the end of intact piece of fire hose .
