Abstract Submission
Abstracts have to be submitted via this email by 1 July 2012. Faxed abstracts will not be considered. Please read the rules of submission before submitting your abstract.

Rules for submission:

The Congress Abstract CD-ROM will include plenary lectures, symposium abstracts and all accepted oral and poster presentations. The Local Scientific Committee will review abstracts. Following this information regarding acceptance, and scheduling will be sent to the abstract submitter. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university specific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission. Upon submission, the Abstract Submitter confirms that the abstract has been previewed and that all information is correct, and accepts that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission and is aware that it will be published exactly as submitted. Submission of the abstract constitutes the authors' consent to publication (e.g. congress website, programs, other promotions, etc.) The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that he/she is the sole owner or has the rights of all the information and content ("Content") provided to the 1st International Conference on Cultural Psychiatry in Mediterranean Countries and Kenes Israel (Hereafter: The Organizers"). The publication of the abstract does not infringe any third party rights including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights. The Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Content.

The Organizers reserve the right to remove from any publication an abstract which does not comply with the above. Upon submission the Abstract Submitter confirms that the contact details saved the system are those of the corresponding author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The corresponding author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.

Guidelines for Submission

Abstract topic abstracts must be allocated to a specific topic for the Scientific Programme. To see the topics please click here Tables A maximum of 3 tables of up to 10 rows x 10 columns can be included per abstract Graphs and images It is important to note that each image included in the abstract is worth 30 words. A maximum of 3 images can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of each graph/image is 500 KB. The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel. You may upload graphs in JPG format only.

Confirmation of your credit card payment, along with registration confirmation, will be sent to you by email. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the conference secretariat. CANCELLATIONS
Substitutions can be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find itm necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately. All cancellations must be faxed, electronically mailed or post-marked. All changes or cancellations should be made in writing to Kenes Israel. Cancellations received up to August 15th, 2012- Full refund less 40$ Handling fee Cancellations received up to September 1st, 2012- 50% refund After October 1st, 2012- No refunds In the unlikely event that the conference will be cancelled, in such an event all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed.

Official check-in time for the hotels is 15:00 hours and check-out is 12:00 noon. We highly recommend that all participants reserve their hotel accommodation as soon as possible. Hotel reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details are fully supplied or alternatively full payment is forwarded by bank transfer. Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of the hotel. The booking will only be final upon receipt of the corresponding full payment. Please note: Rates for Local participants are subject to additional VAT payment (currently 16%). Any changes in VAT will be reflected in the room rates at the time of payment. The charge will be made in NIS and according to the rate of exchange on day of transaction.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All changes or cancellations should be made in writing to Kenes Israel. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Cancellations/changes received up to 45 days prior to arrival - full refund less USD 40 handling fee. Cancellations/changes received between 44 to 30 days prior to arrival - 1 night cancellation charge. Cancellations/changes received less than 29 days prior to arrival no refund. In the event of non arrival the hotel will automatically release the reservation and payment will be non-refundable.

Late Arrival /Early Departure Fee:


If you arrive later or leave earlier than said dates of your confirmed booking, the total accommodation amount will be charged and no refunds will be made.
