Welcome family and friends. Spring is in the air at Bronx Ivy League! We are all looking forward to saying goodbye to the cold and welcoming some warm weather. This month our children will celebrate: Sweetheart Dance (Mar. 1st) Parent Conferences (Mar. 11St. Patricks Day (Mar. 17th) Springs Beginning (Mar.20th)

and nutrition. Yes, its never too early to talk to your children about healthy living!

The month of March has so many awesome things to offer. A few to keep in mind are: Johnny Appleseed Day and NEAs ReadAcross America (Dr. Seusss Birthday). In continuance of National Childrens Dental Health month, pediatric dentist, Dr. Tanny Josen will visit us on March 5th.

Columbia Crawlers A would like to welcome Sofia Petrone to their family. We would also like to congratulate Ms. Valerie for being in our Spotlight of the month for the incredible work she does with her mobiles. Her mobiles are used to stimulate and encourage the infants to explore their environment. Yes, curriculum can happen at this age. Columbia Crawlers C will be talking about St. Patricks Day and Spring this month. They are also going to engage in apple art! Brown Bears Brown Bear A and B will continue to learn about healthy teeth and the dentist. They will be doing some fun activities with shaving cream and glue. They are also going to welcome in spring.

*The Ivy League Times* Cornell Cubs Lets welcome spring in Cornell A and B. Our Cubs will be working with soil, seeds and learn about the life cycle of plants. They are going to plant a garden and make crafty flowers. Dartmouth Jr.

class they will also be celebrating Dr. Seuss birthday. They will talk about the inventor Alexander Graham Bell. Nutrition will be their topic of the month. Chesters Way by: Kevin Henkes will be the book of the month. They are also going to talk about Spring. Lastly, they are going to celebrate Vincent Van Goughs Birthday (March 30th).

Reminder
Dartmouth Jr. will learn about the saying. March goes in like a lion and out like a lamb. They will learn about lions and lambs. For each day in March, they will graph if the weather feels fierce like a lion or quiet like a lamb! Sounds like fun! Also, Dartmouth Jr. will learn about Johnny Appleseed and St. Patricks Day which they will celebrate on March 18th by wearing of course, the color green! Harvard Pre K Pre-K 1s theme this month will be Spring all around. Dr. Seuss will be their author study of the month. Lastly, they will learn about the water cycle and changes that occur in our weather. Pre-K 2 will also celebrate the coming of spring! They will learn about the change in weather, the lifecycle of a flower, and about new born animals. They will also be discussing dental awareness and enjoy a visit from a pediatric dentist.
