Date: 21st January, 2011 Subject: Application for the post of Associate Consultant Dear HR, I am writing to you

to express my interest and enthusiasm in applying for the role of Associate Consultant at Analysys Mason India Pvt. Ltd. I had the pleasure to meet the Analysys Mason team during the pre-placement talk at ISB campus. Because of my prior experience of working in small and cohesive teams I could immediately relate to the firms collaborative and collegial culture with strong emphasis on team-work. I am particularly excited about the entrepreneurial culture of the company, the range of responsibilities that are allocated to the Associate Consultants early on in their professional career and the opportunity to work with senior leaders across industries. I strongly feel that my consistent academic record, the analytical and people skills developed during four years in the Consulting industry and a passion for delivering results makes me a strong asset with your firm. I started my professional career as a Business Analyst at Inductis, a boutique consulting firm. Working in an entrepreneurial set up with one of the best minds across India, I had the fortune to understand diverse industries and advise clients across Banking, Insurance, Online Retail and Healthcare sectors. Within one year with the company I was asked to lead a retainer engagement single handedly and mentor two new associates. A year and 3 months later I joined the Business Intelligence & Insights division at Bank of America. Working as a Consultant for the internal teams at BOA, I not only honed my analytical and quantitative skills but also understood the nuances of handling a young and dynamic team. Being the second employee in the team I was given the opportunity to hire, grow and manage a multi-cultural team of 6 Analysts coming from different regions of US and India. I was also an active contributor in growing the Analytics practice from 2 employees in 2007 ($0.1M in revenue) to 47 employees in 2010 (+$2M in revenue) across Gurgaon, Mumbai and Charlotte offices. In recognition of my excellent interpersonal skills, ability to constructively engage clients and drive to bring new business for the company I was promoted in a record 16 months against a norm of 30 months to become the youngest Team Leader in the Gurgaon office. I am confident of continuing to deliver superior performance in the future and meeting the challenges involved in this opportunity with Analysys Mason with passion and commitment. Looking forward to meet the hiring team for an interview. Please find my CV appended below.

Thanks & Regards,
