Once more unto the breach!

This week has own by, the fact that we break up for the Easter Holidays soon is quite unbelievable. There are not enough hours in the day for what we are trying to achieve. Lots of information this week on the newsletter so please take note: Mandy Wyatt. Newly elected and a huge warm welcome to, Nicola Palmer and Carl Dean. We look forward to their contributions to the direction of the school.

Cheque help
Could you please contact school if your cheque has the name JY Robinson printed on them. This would be a great help. Nothing to worry about!

e-safety
A further e-safety assembly was held for Years 5 and 6 this week about esafety, attended by Governors. The children were introduced to the ceop button that keeps them safe online. More information for everyone can be found here http://www.ceop.police.uk

Dates
Please remember we break up on Thursday 28th March 2013 and return on Tuesday 16th April 2013. Monday 15th April is a Teacher Training Day.

Residential
If you have been following the residential on Twitter, then you will have seen exhausted children having fun and eating huge meals. I would like to say thanks to the staff that have attended, without them it wouldnt happen. I am sure the children will have many tales to tell when they return.

Football/Cross Country
Another successful football result against Blakenhale yesterday evening. A resounding 10-4 victory, it keeps us top of the SPFA league table and included a penalty taken by the goalkeeper. More great running from all that attended Cross Country last evening. Remember this is a turn up and run.

School Dinners
After the Easter break, the cost of dinners at Lyndon Green Junior School will go from 1.90 to 2.00 a day meaning that a week will now be 10.00. Please note that this will not be until after the Easter holiday. Easter Themed dinner 20th March 2013 (see reverse) Pizza day Thursday 28th March not Friday 29th (we are not here)

Governors
We held our most recent meeting on Monday of this week. It was a chance to run through the way the school has been performing since the last meeting. It was an opportunity to welcome the newly elected Governors. Re elected members of the Governors are Karen Evans and

The attendance for the week, 07.03.12 to 14.03.13 was 96.76%. Congratulations to Classes 5E for being the best attenders this week. They are making a regular habit of winning. Their attendance was 98.89% which is an excellent example to everyone. Thank you!
