Progress reviewed as on 21st May 2013 1.

Summary Tank Ring Walls: Ring wall of Tank # 14, 9, 17 and 18 are completed in all respect and handed over for mechanical works. Dyke wall: Foundation work of 180 ft bricks walls completed. Masonry work started. RCC dyke wall foundation of front dyke wall (about 30 ft in front of TK#6) completed. Steel binding work is in progress. RCC dyke wall (30 Ft in front of TK#3) exaction work in progress. Site cleaning: Disposal of scrap/debris is continued to make access for various other activities, like Dyke wall construction, electrical room /firewater pump room construction activities. Invitation of bid/award of contract: Bids for fire pumps /foam shed and electrical /generator room received from M/s Castle construction, negotiated and finally awarded to M/s castle construction. Dismantling of existing structures is in progress.( By Castle Construction) MCC/Distribution panels: Bid received from M/s Engineering Services Corporation for the fabrication and supplying MCC/Distribution panels. Meeting was conducted with supplier and rates negotiated. Final offered rates were sent to HO for approval and award of Contract. Delivery time is 4 weeks after award of Contract. Contract is not yet awarded however PMC committed with Contractor/supplier to reserve the items needed for MCC and panels to avoid any change of rates because of budget. Electrical/Instruments field work: Finally it is decided to procure cables and lights by PMC. Bids will be invited only for field work. Hence the bids for cable-laying, termination, poles supply /installation etc. are re-invited from three contractors

Submission of bids is expected by end of this week. For cable procurement the bids received from three renowned manufacturers. Order shall be placed most probably after further negation with bidder by end of this week. For lights with fixtures bids have already invited from suppliers, bids still not received. The receipt of bids is expected by end of this month.

IFC (Internal floating cover): Installation in Tk#5, TK#6 and TK#2 are completed. Proper functioning of roof tested during hydro static test of tK#5 and TK#6. For TK#2 the hydrostatic test in progress however the IFC is found functioning perfectly. Supply of Firewater pumps and foam system: Delivery expected by end May 2013. (Ship not yet arrived.) Delivery at site might also need two weeks more. Sand blasting: Sand blasting of Tk#5, Tk#6, TK#2, TK#3, Tk#8, TK#10, TK#11, TK#12, TK#13, TK#15, TK#16, TK#18 and TK#4 have completed including washing. TK#12,TK# 17 and TK#16 sand blasting works is in hand. Mechanical fabrication/rehabilitation of Tanks: Tk#11, TK#12 and TK# 13 shell repair work completed. (Pin holes found after Sand blasting). At TK#3 stairs repair work is in hand. Roof vents and foam pourers for TK# 3 and 16 are completed. Radiography Test (RT): For shell welds RT bids invited and rate negotiated. RT will be attempted after finishing all shell welds.( No change in status) Product pumps: Order placed with M/s F.K Traders for product pumps (reconditioned) 9 Nos. Delivery of 1 pump received for performance test. Once the hydrostatic test of TK#2 finished the water shifting is planned into TK#3 through supplied pump in order to test the performance of pump.

Hydro static Test: TK#5, TK#6 and TK#10 has completed. TK#2 is in progress.( water filling is in progress) 2. Civil Works Dyke wall Work on block masonry walls started almost 180 ft foundation completed. RCC dyke (Front wall) work started. About 60 ft foundation lean work completed in front of TK#6, Steel binding work in progress .Pouring of wall expected by end of month. Partially 40 ft excavation work completed in front of TK#3. Lean pouring and steel binding works completion is expected by end of month. Ring walls of Tank Ring wall works of entire tanks completed and handed over for mechanical works. 3. Mechanical works Tk#2 IFC installed, Hydrostatic test in hand. Remaining works: Calibration, RT and External painting. Tk#5 Calibration completed by M/s SGS, report waited. Remaining works: RT and External painting. Tk#6 Hydrostatic test completed water shifting to TK#2 and TK#10 also completed. Now tank is available for Calibration. Remaining works: Tank calibration, RT and External painting.

Tk#16 Sump installed, pipeline for pump suction fabricated and installed. Remaining works: Tank shell plate welding, Shell manhole, Roof manhole, Appurtenances, access platform on roof etc. Earthing lugs, Vents, foam pourer, Tank calibration, Hydrostatic test, Appurtenances, RT etc. Tk#3 Stair repair work is in progress. Tank is available for Hydro static test. Remaining works: Appurtenances like vents, Foam pourer, hydrostatic test, Tank calibration, RTand external painting.. Tk#4 Sand blasting completed. Shell plate welded. Pipeline for pump suction and draw off lines fabricated and installed Remaining works: Roof manhole, Appurtenances, Hydrostatic test, Tank calibration, RT, etc. Tk#8 Completed in all respect. Remaining works: Hydro static test, Sandblasting, Tank calibration, RT and external painting. TK#9 Bottom plates placed and welded. Roof plates replaced welding work almost completed. Railing on roof completed. Sand blasting 70 % completed. Remaining works: Shell to bottom plates welding, pipelines for pump suction and draw off, Roof manhole, Appurtenances, Hydrostatic test, Shell repair ,Tank calibration, RT, earthing lugs and external painting. Tk#10 Sand blasting completed, Hydro static test completed.

Remaining works: Tank calibration, RT, earthing lugs and external painting. TK#11 Bottom plates placed and welded. Roof manhole and vent installed. Shell repair works completed. Sand blasting completed. Tank is available for hydro static test. Remaining works: Tank Calibration, RT, Earthing lugs and External painting. TK#12 Sand blasting completed. Shell repair work completed. Tank is available for hydro static test. Remaining works: Hydrostatic test, Shell repair, Tank calibration, RT, earthing lugs and external painting. TK#13 Sand blasting completed, roof manhole installed. Shell repair work in hand after completion of repair tank is available for hydrostatic test. Remaining works: Hydrostatic test, Shell repair Tank calibration, RT, Earthing lugs and external painting. TK#14 Roof replaced, bottom plates placed and welded. Shell to bottom plates welding in hand. Sand blasting 70% completed. Remaining works: Sand blasting, pipelines for pump suction and draw off, Roof manhole, Appurtenances, Hydrostatic test, Shell repair Tank calibration, RT, Earthing Lugs and external painting TK#15 Shell repair work completed. Sand blasting completed. Shell manhole need to be closed after that the tank is available for hydro static test. Remaining works: Hydrostatic test, Tank calibration, RT, Electrical Lugs and external painting

TK#16 Sand blasting completed. Pump suction line inside tank installed. Remaining works: Final Shell plate welding, Hydrostatic test, Tank calibration, RT, Electrical Lugs and external painting TK#17 Ring wall civil work completed and tank handed over for mechanical works. Roof replaced railing fabricated and installed. Sand blasting is in hand. Bottom plates placed and welded. Remaining works: Bottom plate to shell welding, pipelines for pump suction, Roof manhole, Appurtenances, Hydrostatic test, Shell repair Tank calibration, RT, Electrical Lugs and external painting TK#18 Ring wall civil work completed and handed over for mechanical works. Roof replacement and railing work in hand, bottom plates placed and welded. Sand blasting completed. Remaining works: Pipelines for pump suction, Roof manhole, Appurtenances, Hydrostatic test, Shell repair, Tank calibration, RT, Electrical Lugs and external paint. 4. Pipelines lay-ing 8 (two lines), 10 and 14 line pipe lay-ing are in progress at BOPs and in culverts, Line pipe placed almost 600 ft on supports while clearing of culvert in hand. Completion of railroad crossing is expected by end of this month. At BOPs, waiting for the opportunity to complete the welding work on (2 to 3 joints on each line).

5. Internal floating roof Installation of three IFCs completed and tested successfully.

6. Procurement Pumps

Contract awarded, one pump delivered for actual performance test at site. Performance test is planned to use supplied pump for water shifting from TK#2 to TK#3. Most probably by ist week of June 2013. Tank material Partial material procured for tanks, piping inside plant area and fire water /foam pipelines. Gantry material and fittings Sorting of line pipes and fittings from existing removed terminal material is in hand. Fabrication of temporary Gantry (for Explosive inspector inspection as per approved plan) has started. (No change in status). Electrical material Details discussed with Contractor for MCC (Motor Control Centre) fabrication and supply. Placement of order is still awaited however the Contractor is advised verbally to reserve the material which is required for panels and MCC to avoid any cost impact of coming budget. Cables Bids received order to be placed by last week of this month after getting approval from HO. Lights and fixtures Bids invited. Receipt of bids is expected by first week of June or last week of this month. Paint Bids received from three vendors, meetings conducted with individual supplier to negotiate rates as well the technical specification of products. Evaluation is in hand. Final note is being sent to Ho at earliest. Order placement is expected by next week. Pump shed, Electrical room, gate, Gantry, Piping Contract is awarded to M/s Castle Construction. Dismantling works of old structure in hand. Terminal Piping: Work started with limited access. (Status remain same) Procurement of Fittings on the basis as and when required continude.(No change)
