CUSTOM FIBER CUTTING

During our years of involvement in tow cutting, DM&E has always offered to cut small samples
for potential customers. Recently the rapid pace of development in specialized fiber lengths has
required several of our customers to request larger quantities of staple fibers. To satisfy these
requests, DM&E has established a division to accommodate tow cutting of limited quantities of
supplied fiber.

DM&E Corporation performs custom cutting of fiber in our own laboratory. For product
qualification or equipment evaluation, long or short, we cut it all. The equipment in our lab uses
the newest technology in fiber cutting. The Cutting Load Indicator, installed on a 60 Series Tow
Cutter, helps evaluate your run more objectively. It produces graphical analysis of the cut to
monitor cutting conditions.

CUSTOM MACHINING AND MANUFACTURING

Components and assemblies produced to our customers' specifications is the minimum acceptable standard. DM&E
Corporation maintains appropriate inspection facilities to assure parts shipped meet these requirements. Additional qua
assurance and specialized inspection are available through independent laboratories.

Engineering staff and facilities with proven prototype machine design capabilities. Particularly experienced in the manm
fibers industry. DM&E can provide design and drafting on latest version Autocad systems. Manual drafting, project
management and design consulting also available per customer requirements.
UPGRADES AND RETROFITS
DM&E offers a selection of improvements to both the DM&E cutters and other cutter brands. We
have also created several quality upgrades for the WA crimper. Most items can be fitted to existed
equipment, and many items can be installed at your location.
