The Importance of Surface Finish
Polishing is a value added operation in stainless steel sheet and Coil. The highest possible
degree of surface finish is usually desirable, for two quite distinct reasons. Aesthetic and
functional points of view.
On the longer timescale – months and years, there is abundant evidence that the smoother the surface,
the slower will be processes such as corrosion or tarnishing and also to deposit of fine airborne
particulates, such as soot or dust. The smoother the surface, is easy to clean by water or wiping.

Protective PVC Film Coating Machines

P2 Pickling & Passivation GEL is used to remove the Black Oxide Marks, Burn Scale
Left During Welding of Stainless Steel. Which is used to clean weld seams and
surrounding areas and is applied with brush.

Application Process
1. Remove dirt and oil using brush weld area with steel wire brush
2. Apply BrighTex P2 Gel on the weld seams and surrounding areas
with a nylon plastic brush.
3. Leave the BrighTex P2 on the weld seams areas for 10-15 minutes
depending upon the thickness of oxide scale.
4. Use pressurised water Jet Spray or wipe the weld seam lightly with plastic scrubber & rinse the surface thoroughly
with water.
5. Apply Brightex Passivation (STA on the surface area and leave it for about 15 minutes. This will prevent from further
contamination and corrosion.
6. Rinse the surface area thoroughly with water and allow it to dry.
Application Time Will Depend Upon Grade and Thickness Of Stainless Steel.
Brightex CB#44
APPLICATION : BRIGHTEX CB#44 is ready-to-use cream applicable by wiping or Brushing with soft pads over the metal surface even inclined or vertical direction without
dripping. Wipe over the whole surface with soft brush pad. Just wash out after that, depend on Tarnish level of the surface to be cleaned, reapplied where necessary then
washed and dry completely, the surface will be totally clean, can be noticed from water film that formed over the surface during rinsing washing.

COPPERBRIGHT #25 is a powdered / liquid concentrate, which is mixed with water to form a solution used for
cleaning metal surface and alloys especially Copper, Brass and Bronze. It will selectively remove light
Oxides, light Soils, Tarnishes, Fingerprints, etc. effectively without any attack on the base metal.
COPPERBRIGHT #25 is designed specially to be used on the exposed area of properly cured resisted
inks, photoresists as well as it is organic based chemicals, it is harmless and low inherent toxicity upon
direct contact to skin and poses no serious disposal problems in contrast to the conventional pickling solutions.
COPPERBRIGHT #25 is also not corrosive to stainless steel and machine parts.

Soils/Oxides removal. Application methods can be simply dipping, conveyorized immersion or spraying.
