Goal:
To Upgrade the old and obsolete Seres ODME MK-III Hengstler Printer with the latest Seres and Seil-Seres
Megatron one, with out affecting the performance of the ODME system.
In order to reach this Goal the following two boards has to be removed from the Calculator send to Darlas
Greece, workshop for Firmware and Hardware modification and then returned to the ship together with the
Complete P/N: S-300-1, Darlas-Seres Printer upgrade kit, which includes all the necessary parts, screws
cables, assembly instructions and fastening materials in order to realize the final Printer Upgrade Modification.
Of course the kit includes a Brand New Megatron Printer and its embedded Darlas Printer Interface PCB.
1 x S-C538R PCB ANNEX 804/11, HENGSTLER, SERES MK3 ODME (Located inside the MK-III Calculator Unit).
1 x S-C337R PCB M/P-CESSOR HENGSTLER, SERES MK3 ODME (Located inside the MK-III Calculator Unit).

We guarantee to ship back to the ship the complete Darlas Seres Printer Upgrade kit within 72 hours after
Receipt of your boards accompanied with your pre-payment and written order.
CAUTION
Before any dismantling job make sure that both 3-Phase as well as 1-Phase Power supply to ODME is cut off.
Step 1
Go to Cargo Control Room and locate the Calculator Unit as it is shown on Photo 1 below.
Unscrew the four (4) screws located in the four (4) (North-South & East-West) corners of the facial panel. (Right
side Part of Facial Panel containing the LCD display and the Keyboard).

Please Secure it safely aside, as shown in the below picture:

Remove the Processor PCB (P/N: ES-65120A) from its Guide Rails by pressing down the red U stopper
gently. Please see below photo Number 5.

Remove the Printer Interface PCB (P/N: S80411 ANNEX) from its Guide Rails by pressing down the red U
stopper gently. Please see below photo Number 6.

Step 6
After you have removed both left side fitted PCBs as shown below in Photo 7, please go ahead and
fit back the Operators/Calculator Cabinet Facial Panel with the help of the four (4) screws saved from
Step 1. So the Cabinet will be closed again as it is shown in Photo 1.
Both microprocessor and Printer Interface PCBs removed from ODME Operators Cabinet.

CAUTION
Please do not apply power to Operators / Calculators Cabinet until you will receive back from us and for the
final installation both the removed boards as well as your complete DARLAS-SERES printer upgrade kit.

Step 7
You are now done with your two PCBs removal :
1. ES-65120A Microprocessor PCB and 2. S80411P Annex 804/11 PCB
Please go ahead and carefully wrap separately each one of the boards with any suitable bag as shown in
photos 8, 9 & 10 below. If none of the below bags are available then please use first normal A4 size business
mail paper envelopes to wrap each individual board and then pack both of the boards in a suitable for air
freight carton box. The parcel should be send to our workshop for Firmware and Hardware modification so
they can be returned back to the ship together with the Complete P/N: S-300-1, Darlas-Seres Printer upgrade
kit, which includes all the necessary parts, screws cables, assembly instructions and fastening materials in
order to realize the final Printer Upgrade Modification. Of course the kit includes a Brand New Megatron Printer
and its embedded Darlas Printer Interface PCB.
