1. General Descriptions
The telephone system is designed for high stability, amplification and clearance. To gain the functions
of the existing system and excellent communication quality, it implements the low power consumption
using a capacitor-battery. Also, it is operated independently of the power supply of the vessel so it is
used in emergency. The LC-800 system described in this manual consists of the direct (1:1) and
mutual selection types (1:12 / 24).

2. Operations and Specifications

2.1 Telephone Sets: The sound power (battery less) telephone consists of the direct and mutual selection
types and is divided into the following according to the purpose.

2.2 Electric Specifications

e. DC power can be connected to this telephone for dimmer source only.

2.3 Direct Type (1:1 Station)-(LC-700 Series Only)

2.3.1 Calling
a) Lift the handset and quickly rotate the handle of the magnetic generator 10 times.
b) Then, the calling signal is transmitted to the called party.
c) If the other party responses, you talk with him or her.

2.3.2 Answering
a) The bell rings while the lamp blinks.
b) Lift the handset.
c) Communication

2.4 Mutual Selection Type (Max. 1:12 Station)-(LC-800 Series Only)

2.4.1 Calling
a) Lift the handset and select the switch you want to call.
b) Quickly rotate the handle of the magnetic generator 10 times and then the calling signal is
transmitted to the called party.
c) Communication

2.5 Cautions
2.5.1 This battery-less telephone (sound power telephone) uses the power charged in capacitor for
approximately 30 minutes.
2.5.2 Terminal Board "SN”: Connect to self number.
2.5.3 Terminal Board "COM”: Common line of all telephones
2.5.4 Terminal Board "+, -”: If the relay box is not used, the bell, R/L and horn connected to the external
power (AC/DC).
2.5.5 Terminal Board "B1, B2”: Contact for external signal

3. Sound Power (Battery Less) Telephone Equipment Family

3.1 Desk Type Telephone (LC-711, LC-812)
With a non-waterproofing "ABS" resin, this telephone has speaking circuit, bell, lamp and handset. It is
fixed with fastener or bracket so it cannot be separated while the vessel is moved. The terminal box
(JB-61, 62) is designed with non-waterproof.

3.2 Wall Type Telephone (LC-713, LC-814)

This telephone includes headset type, sub receiver type and standard type (LC-213F1/G1) that has the
relay circuit for external signal. Also, it is designed to be the indoor waterproof with built-in speaking
circuit and LED lamp. In a noisy place, use the headset type (LC-213G/G1) or sub receiver type
(LC-213F/F1).

3.3 Flush Type Telephone (LC-715, LC-816)

This telephone is designed to be non-waterproof with the built-in handset, speaking circuit, LED lamp,
buzzer and terminal. The LC-816A telephone is a flush type with a dimmer and used in a wheel house.

3.4 Portable Type Telephone (LC-717, LC-818)

This telephone is designed to be indoor waterproof with the built-in handset, speaking circuit, magnetic
generator handle, LED lamp and terminal for cord connection. The auxiliary equipment includes the
water-proof junction box (JB-5) and connection cord (5-20m). Generally, in case of calling to the desired
place, connect the extension cord and use a handset. The operating method is similar to other
telephones.
After calling, put the handset in place and close the cover, identifying cable. For storage, disconnect
the connection cable and cover the water-proof cap tightly. For rainy weather, especially, be sure to
close the cover to protect the internal device.
